Written parental or guardian consent is required for anyone under 18. Minimum Age for solo skydiving in new Zealand is 16 years old. Please supply this prior to your Ground School.

A GO SOLO Skydive in Abel Tasman

Upon booking you will be sent a digital Ground School that you can learn all about your first solo skydive. This digital workbook will introduce you to all aspects that you need to know about skydiving before you meet your instructor. It’s imperative you read through this workbook prior to your arrival and will be tested on the contents throughout your time with our instructors. Learning this side of your skydive is fun, enjoy the read and see how much information you have retained when you come to physically learn at the airport! Our professional skydive instructors will train you over a half day and get you ready for your first solo jump!*

Go Solo Disclaimer

  • Upon booking you will be sent a digital Ground School, in this we will go over everything you need to know and learn about your first solo skydive. This digital workbook will introduce you to all aspects that you need to know about skydiving before you meet your instructor. It’s imperative  you read through this workbook prior to your arrival as you will be tested on the contents throughout your time with our instructors. Learning this side of your skydive is fun, enjoy the read and see how much information you have retained when you come to physically learn at the airport! Our professional skydive instructors will train you over a half day and get you ready for your first solo jump!
  • Taff is a tandem jump from 13000ft where you will be required to perform handle checks, altimeter checks and awareness and open the parachute yourself as well as steer it to the ground.
  • Weather cancellation; upon booking our instructors will make a weather call up to 72 hours before your booking, if weather is looking good you will be sent the digital ground school, if the instructors decide weather is not looking very good then you will be offered to reschedule or be refunded.
  • Should you complete the Ground School and the weather prevents your jump you can either reschedule the jump or have a partial refund of up to but not more than 50%.
