| NZPF Nationals 2010
This year’s NZPF National Skydiving Competition is to be held at Motueka Aerodrome and hosted by Skydive Abel Tasman.
The dates for this event are the 14th August through to 17th August; Allowing for 1 training day, 2 competition days and 1 weather day. The competition falls over the second full weekend in August and is followed on by Good Vibes, New Zealand’s largest annual boogie.
The Registration Fee will be confirmed by the end of March and will be based largely on interest shown for the event. Skydive Abel Tasman really want to hear from those interested in competing this year and in the disciplines you would like to have available to compete in. If enough interest is shown Skydive Abel Tasman will arrange to have the Pac 750 here for competitors.
The following disciplines are the ones we would like to offer but happy to look in to more categories if the interest is high enough.
Discipline and categories so far:
2 way and 4 way RW – Novice, Intermediate and Advanced
8 Way Speedstar
2 way VRW – Novice, Intermediate and Advanced
Please email Lisa Chambers on lisa@skydive.co.nz to show interest in selected discipline or if you have any questions/queries on the event.
There are plenty of cheap accommodation options available from dorm beds - private rooms at Motueka Top 10, The White Elephant and Laughing Kiwi. Skydive Abel Tasman will be offering a courtesy pick up from the hostels every morning before first load and a courtesy ride back in the evenings. We are also happy to do pickups from Nelson Airport but there may be a small charge to cover fuel for this option.
To participate in the NZPF Nationals you are required to be an NZPF member. Skydive Abel Tasman is a NZPIA affiliated DZ and requires jumpers to have a NZPIA Licence to be able to jump. Temporary licences will be available.
