Responsible Tourism Statement

At Skydive Abel Tasman we have a commitment to responsible tourism to ensure we are doing what we can to protect and enhance the environment for future generations, whilst still giving each and every customer the most unique and amazing skydiving experience.

 We actively

• Encourage staff to utilise energy efficiency
• Replace where possible, all light bulbs with energy efficient bulbs
• Use mercury free batteries in the majority of equipment
• Recycle office paper newspaper, cardboard, plastics and printer cartridges
•  Use refillable spray bottles for cleaning all staff and public areas
• Use all locally supplied 100% recycled toilet paper and hand towels
• Monitor all fuel usage be it aircraft or motor vehicles and continually develop ways to improve minimal wastage and efficiency

We will;

• Reply to any questions raised by customers or employees in relation to responsible tourism
• Continue ongoing investigations into energy and water saving methods
• Use live plants throughout the business where practicable
• Encourage local schools with tree planting projects
