You must bring with you your logbook and any licence/certificates that you have.
Do I need to join a membership organisation and what are the costs?
To jump at our dropzone you need to be a member of the NZPIA and hold a valid certificate (if you have over 100 jumps). You can apply for a temporary membership (3 months) which is $50 or a life-time membership which is $150. More information can be found at www.nzpia.co.nz You can choose to apply for your certificates before you arrive or when can assist you when you are here.
I learned to skydive in a different country, can I still jump?
Yes you can, you just need to provide us with your logbook and any licences that you have. If you don't yet have a licence you can still skydive with us as a student, and once you meet the criteria, you can apply for an NZPIA A Certificate.
Can I hire gear?
We do offer gear hire at $40 per jump which includes packing. If you don't have your own jumpsuit, helmet, alti or audible we can also provide these.
What plane do you have?
We have a turbine Fletcher which holds 6 people. It takes about 15-20 minutes to reach 16,500ft.
We also have a Pilatus Porter set to arrive before the coming summer season 2011 - 2012! The porter holds up to 10 jumpers and takes 20 minutes maximum to altitude.
Do you have any events/boogies?
